Transfer Budapest <->Vienna or Prague with scenic tour via Bratislava

Bratislava - You have to see that! - Travelling between Vienna - Budapest or Prague - Budapest, we offer a Bratislava sightseeing tour. - Three Central-European capital cities in one day.

BRATISLAVA CASTLE

- Bratislava - a city, which played an important role in the history of the Hungarian Kingdom - nowadays in the capital city, cultural and economic centre of Slovakia. In earlier times, it was known as Pressburg, which is the German name of the city. During the Hungarian period the town was called Pozsony - named after the first captain of the castle. For a long period of time - during the Turkish occupation - the Hungarian Parliament was held in this fascinating town. For tourists travelling between Budapest and Vienna or Prague it is worth to stop by and spend a few hours in Bratislava. In the Bratislava Castle - standing on the castle hill by the Danube River - was the Hungarian Holy Crown safekept for a long time. Today the Slovak National Museum can be found here.

BRATISLAVA OLDTOWN

The historical Oldtown of Bratislava has real Central European atmosphere, which is a true tourist attraction and getting more and more popular travel destination. Visitors of any age group can find some sort of amazing attraction or entertainment. In the baroque national monuments several museums and art galleries can be found. The road network of the Oldtown of Bratislava - originated from medieval times - are traffic free streets for pedestrians, so the most restaurant, cafes, pubs with quiet and peaceful terraces are waiting for their guests here. The most famous church of Bratislava - standing in front of the castle hill - is the St. Martin Cathedral, built in the 13th century. On the top of the building there is a replica of the Hungarian Holy Crown in memory of the 11 Hungarian kings and 8 queens, crowned in this holy place between 1563 and 1830.

GRASSALKOVICH PALACE

North of the downtown, stands the compelling, late baroque style Grassalkovich Palace, which nowadays is the Residence of the Slovakian President. The soldiers, guarding the palace in colourful traditional military uniforms and the relief can be an interesting scene for the photographers. Behind the palace, the most famous public park can be found. Originally it belonged to the palace, but after the reconstruction in 1999 it became open to the public with breath taking avant-garde installations and monuments.

BRATISLAVA MAIN SQUARE - OLD CITY HALL

The hearth of the Oldtown of Bratislava is the Main Square
, which is the core of social life in the city - mostly favoured by young people - by reason of many busy pedestrian precincts meeting here. The atmospheric, pedestrians only area is surrounded by baroque, classicist and Art Nouveau buildings - when the weather is nice, countless café terraces can be found here. The main attraction is the Old City Hall which is the first stone construction of Bratislava. Roland Fountain in the middle of the square is a popular meeting point of the city. The fountain has been a decorative element of the town since 1572. Recently, more and more lovely and funny street sculptures has been installed, making the scenery even richer. The silliest and maybe funniest creation is "Čumil", a cheerful boy peeping out of the street canalisation. Another beloved creature is the „Schöne Nazi” - who was a real person in the 19th century - greeting everyone with his top hat and a wide smile. In the nearby, the figure of Napoleon can be seen, resting on a bench.

Nancy Morton - USA

I got a European trip as a graduation gift from my mom. Due to some errors, we missed the train from Vienna to Budapest. Luckily, we found this site and it was really life-saving! After hours of worrying, we met a kind and helpful driver and it was a relief! It was a good idea, to use a professional service instead of getting lost in a foreign-language country even more. It was an enjoyable ride and we also got useful tips for sights, museums and restaurants. Thank you very much Emil!

Hi! We were travelling with the kids from Vienna to Budapest with the option of travelling through the Danube Bend. So rich history and amazing view! Our guide and driver was so easy-going, helpful and intelligent. The kids enjoyed the time so much and learnt more, than in a history lesson! We would like to thank you for the ride. It was an awesome day, you made our trip so interesting! Thank You Emil! Regards: Marek Jablonsky - Poland

Tommy Lim

"We had booked for us 3 Emil as a private driver from Vienna to Budapest in Sept. 2017 via his homepage viennabudapest.hu. It was easy to find all the informations on the site. His offer was promt and detailed, he answered for all our questions previously in his transfer confirmation. The pick up was in the exact time, the car is a luxury Mercedes E class estate car, enough luggage-rack for our 4 suitcases and hand bags. He offered us not a simple direct transport to Budapest but a scenic tour via Bratislava, which is the capital city of Slovakia. It was amazing!!! Highly recommended! Thank you Emil!"

Robert Venczel - USA Florida

Nálunk Amerikában teljesen más kép él a taxisokról.
